The It Girl

The Book that I am reading now is called "The it Girl", By Cecily Von Ziegsar.  If you have read Gossip Girl, also by Cecily Von Ziegsar, you would remember the character Jennifer Humphrey. This book is all about Jenny's time at boarding school. Before you read this post, you would want to know that Jenny got kicked out of her school Constance Billard. That is why she wants to go to Waverly Academy.
Jenny packs up all her things, and she leaves the place that she grew up in: New York City. Jenny is so exited to start all over, and she is trying to forget about all the bad things that have happened in New York. When Jenny gets to her New School, she realizes how different it is from Constance. Jenny greets the administration and she realizes that they had her down as Mr. Jennifer Humphrey. So, all of her things were shipped to the boys dorm, instead of girls. Once that is fixed, Jenny finds herself in a room with the two most popular students in Waverly : Brett Messershmidt and Callie Vernon. Jenny just knows she is gonna be cool this year... or so she thinks...!

3 Willows...! What I read today

Today, I read a lot more about Ama, Jo, and Polly.
AMA: Ama gets lost at her Wild Adventures camp! Her group leaves her! :(. They didn't even realize that she was missing until much later on! So, Ama finds her way to the ranger's station. She meets a cop named Bob. Ama's mom wants her to come home, but it IS her decision, (or it SHOULD be) and Ama may not choose what people expect.

JO: She realizes that the boy she liked, (Zach) was cheating on her for a girl named Effie Kaligaris, who was Zach's former girlfriend. Jo loses her job because of something that Effie did. So, Jo leaves the beach to see her father at home, and she realizes something that could change the way she feels about him : for the better! :)!

POLLY: She has lost a lot of weight now! She thinks that she is good enough to be a real model! So she enters a competition... AND GETS IN!!! She rushes to tell her mother, Dia the exiting news, but when she finally sees her mom, many questions are left unanswered, and that only creates more questions!

3 Willows

I just started a new book. It is by Anne Brasheres, and she also wrote "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" series, which is really good. So, if you liked those books, this one would be a good pick for you!! But, if you have not even read that series, you should read those first! This book is very good, and it mentions some of the characters in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling pants"! I really liked seeing them again!
This book has a few main characters so far. There is Ama, Polly, and Jo. Ama is the smart african american one. Ama moved to Maryland from another country, and her and her sister are extremely smart! Ama decides to go to camp for the summer, but the academic camp she gets into isn't the one she expected! Polly is the girl who doesn't want to grow up. She is the "babyish" one. She decides that she wants to model, and enrolls into modeling camp. Then there is Jo. She has always been the popular and pretty one of the group. Jo is spending her summer at the beach, and because of a family problem, her summer is about to change!

Dreamland!

I am reading the book Dreamland By Sarah Dessen, and it is a very good book! The book is about a girl named Caitlin. Caitlin has always been second best compared to her sister Cass. Then, Cass runs away and decides not to go to college, but to be with a boy she met over the summer. Caitlin's parents are very upset, and Caitlin misses her sister. Caitlin's Best friend Rina convinces her to try out for the cheerleading team. They both make the team, but Caitlin realizes she hates it. Then she meets Rogerson. And at first.... things are perfect! But later on, things turn terrible. Caitlin has a secret. She can't tell anyone! Not even her new friend Corinna who's wish is to leave everything and live in California. Caitlin can't do anything about this. She has to lie to everyone in her life. But the worst part is, she is still in love with Rogerson, even though she knows she shouldn't.
I have read a lot of books by this author, (Sarah Dessen) and Dreamland is definitely one of my favorites! It is a great book. I would recommend this book to other people, but if someone hates sad stories, they should probably stay away from this book! It is a real tear-jerker at times.
